Instructions for Authors

Mandatory Guidelines for International Book Chapter Submissions

I. Academic Integrity and Originality

  • Originality: We invite high-quality research contributions for our upcoming international volumes. All submissions must adhere to the strictest standards of academic honesty. Each chapter must maintain a Plagiarism/Similarity Index (including AI-generated content) of no more than 10%.
  • Rejection Policy: If the combined AI and plagiarized content exceeds 20–25%, the editors reserve the absolute right to reject the manuscript without further notice.
  • Strict Timeline: Once a topic or abstract is approved, the full chapter must be submitted within 20–30 days. Revisions must be completed within 40 days, or in case of an emergency, no later than 60 days. The editors reserve the right to proceed without further reminders if deadlines are missed.
  • No Refund Policy: Any amount paid toward editorial services is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the final publication status.

II. Manuscript Structure and Technical Data

  • Formatting: Chapters should range between 6,000 and 9,000 words and must strictly follow the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) Author-Date system.
  • Abstract & Keywords: Submissions must begin with a 300-word Abstract and exactly 10 Keywords. The abstract must not contain quotations or page numbers.
  • Typography: Please use 16 pt font for titles, 14 pt for headings, and 12 pt for the body text.
  • Paragraph Indentation: The first line of the first paragraph of any section should be left-aligned (no indentation). All subsequent paragraphs must have a 0.5-inch indentation. Lines immediately following headings or block quotes should remain unindented.
  • Factual Accuracy: Authors must ensure 100% accuracy regarding historical data, such as birth dates, birthplaces, and publication years. Errors in text or references are not permitted.
  • Reference Requirements: A minimum of 20 references is mandatory. Most references should be from International Books, Scopus-indexed journals, University Presses, or Peer-Reviewed Journals.
  • Correspondence Rule: All listed references must be cited in the text, and every in-text citation must appear in the reference list.

III. Citations and Reference Standards

  • In-Text Citation Format: Use the format: (Singh 2026, 17).
    • Prohibited Formats: (Singh, 2026, 17), (Singh: 2026, 17), (Singh 100), or (100).
  • Punctuation Rules:
  • Standard Quotes: Place the full stop after the closing parenthesis. Example: "...quote" (Singh 2026, 17).
  • Block Quotes: For quotes longer than 4 lines, indent the text and place the full stop before the parenthesis. Example: "...quote." (Singh 2026, 17)
  • Note: Do not use double inverted commas in indented block quotes.

IV. Legal Liability and Ethical Responsibility

  • Sensitive Content: It is the contributor's sole responsibility to ensure the manuscript is free from libelous, defamatory, or controversial content regarding any political party, religion, caste, gender, or sensitive social issue.
  • Legal & Financial Liability: In the event of legal disputes or litigation—which may involve significant costs in Euros, Dollars, or Pounds—the contributor and co-authors will be held entirely liable for all charges and penalties.
  • Co-Author Responsibility: All authors share equal responsibility for ensuring the material is original, AI-free, and grammatically correct.
  • Retraction: In cases of severe AI misuse or factual errors, chapters may be retracted post-publication, and authors may be blacklisted.

V.   Oxford English Spellings

All contributors must adhere to the Oxford English spelling standards. This style combines British English conventions with the etymological "-ize" suffix. Please follow the specific rules below:

The "-ize" and "-ization" Rule

Use the "z" spelling for verbs and nouns derived from Greek roots (-izein). This is a mandatory requirement for our volumes.

  • Verbs: realize, organize, recognize, apologize, emphasize, hypothesize.
  • Nouns: civilization, organization, colonization, characterization.

Essential "-ise" Exceptions (The 'S' Rule)

Some words must never be written with a "z" because they do not share the same Greek root. Using a "z" in these words is considered an academic error.

  • Commercial: advertise, merchandise.
  • General: exercise, surprise, comprise, enterprise, supervisise, revise, devise.

The "-yse" Exception

Words ending in -yse are always written with an "s" in Oxford spelling, unlike American English.

  • Correct: analyse, paralyse, dialyse.
  • Incorrect: analyze, paralyze.

Standard British Conventions

Apart from the "-ize" suffix, all other spellings must follow British English (not American).

VI Submission and Communication Protocol

  • Initial Approval: Please get your topic approved and request a sample chapter by contacting Dr. Bijender Singh via WhatsApp at +91-8168857428.
  • Final Submission: Only manuscripts with final WhatsApp approval should be sent to the official email: drsoora@gmail.com.
  • Fees: There is no publication fee. However, service charges for guidance and editorial support may apply.
  • Professional Commitment: If you cannot commit the necessary time, please do not apply. We require full cooperation during all production stages. Authors typically have 4–5 days to review copyedited files. Lack of response may lead the editors to proceed without further notice.
  • Data Accuracy: Accuracy regarding names, designations, ORCID IDs, and bio-notes is the contributor's responsibility.
  • Malpractice (AI Usage): Using AI tools to write and then "humanize" content is strictly prohibited. Such attempts are easily detected by advanced software like Turnitin AI Pro and iThenticate. Violators will be blocked for five years, and their respective institutions/universities may be notified.
